What is a Sustainability Plan?

A sustainability plan outlines how an organization manages its impact on the environment, people, and the communities it operates in. It sets priorities, defines goals, and establishes how progress will be measured over time.

What is ESG?

ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance. These three areas provide a framework for how we evaluate and manage our impact:

• Environmental – how we manage our impact on land, water, and resources
• Social – how we support our people and the communities we serve
• Governance – how we operate transparently and make responsible decisions

Why is sustainability important at EAG?

At Emil Anderson Group, sustainability is rooted in our Core Values and our belief that long-term success comes from acting responsibly toward the people, communities, and environments that support our work. We are a community-driven organization. Our people live and work in the communities we serve, and our projects are delivered in partnership with those communities. As we grow, our responsibility grows with it. This strategy ensures that growth is responsible, resilient, and aligned with who we are.

Did we have a sustainability plan before?

While we haven’t had a formal plan until now, sustainability has always been part of how we operate. Our values and day-to-day decisions have reflected these principles for years. This plan brings that work together into a clear framework that allows us to track progress, measure results, and continue improving.

How will we measure progress?

The plan outlines specific goals and key metrics across each ESG area. These will be tracked over time to monitor performance and keep us accountable as we move forward. We will also share an annual sustainability update, highlighting our progress, key achievements, and areas where we still have work to do.
