Your Key Responsibilities
Quality Control
- Audits & Reporting: Conduct weekly Quality Control Audit Reports (QCARs) and monthly internal audits of assigned projects. Prepare detailed, comprehensive reports in Procore and communicate all findings to the Quality Manager and Project Team.
- Inspections & Evaluations: Perform monthly reviews, evaluations, and scoring of quality inspections on all assigned projects. Provide proactive and constructive feedback to the project team.
- Non-Conformance & Improvement: Identify and track Opportunities for Improvement (OFIs). Assist project teams in accurately documenting Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) within Procore to ensure timely resolution and prevent recurrence.
- Documentation & Data Integrity: Meticulously maintain and update quality documentation, including test records, the quality inspection evaluation database, and compliance documents. Routinely review and cross-reference records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
- Compliance Verification: Review and audit Weekly Production Reports (WPRs), carefully cross-referencing them against the project’s Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP) to verify full compliance with contractual requirements.
- Project Support & Collaboration: Participate in and evaluate QC Toolbox meetings to promote a site-wide culture of quality. Offer hands-on support to project staff with the implementation of the QMS and completion of QC inspections as required.
- Facilitate Quality Orientation: Lead or support quality-focused onboarding sessions for new hires, helping them understand QMS procedures, inspection expectations, and the company’s commitment to quality.
- Support Training & Continuous Improvement: Assist in the development and delivery of ongoing quality training for project teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality-related processes and resources.
Your Qualifications & Skills
- Degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field of study, OR applicable craft leadership experience and demonstrated ability in base skills required to succeed in quality coordination duties and responsibilities.
- Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore) is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards is highly desirable.

- Demonstrate leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection on the project.

- Capable of identifying constructability issues in moderately complex situations and creating solutions in the construction plan and schedule.
Financial Oversight
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to monitor financial aspects of the contract to protect both parties’ interests.

We are seeking applications for winter highway maintenance workers/labourers for the Service Area 7 (Fraser Valley) which includes: Mission, Cultus Lake, Chilliwack, Rosedale, Agassiz, Hope, Boston Bar and Allison Pass. This is a seasonal, full-time position consisting of manual labour and operating plow trucks. Multiple positions available.
As a Winter Highway Maintenance Worker with Emil Anderson Maintenance (EAM), you’ll help keep roads safe and reliable throughout the winter season. You’ll operate plow and sanding trucks, support hands‑on road repairs, and work with a skilled crew to respond quickly and work safely in all weather. This is a physically demanding, labour‑intensive role that involves outdoor work in cold, snowy conditions and extended shifts when needed. The Opportunity
We’re seeking applications for winter highway maintenance workers/labourers for the Service Area 26 (Skeena), which includes Terrace, Kitimat and Gitlaxt’aamiks. This is a seasonal, full-time position consisting of manual labour and operating plow trucks. Multiple positions available.
As a Winter Highway Maintenance Worker with Emil Anderson Maintenance (EAM), you’ll help keep roads safe and reliable throughout the winter season. You’ll operate plow and sanding trucks, support hands‑on road repairs, and work with a skilled crew to respond quickly and work safely in all weather. This is a physically demanding, labour‑intensive role that involves outdoor work in cold, snowy conditions and extended shifts when needed. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in essential community service, and thrive in a fast‑paced, team environment, this role is for you.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Removal of snow and ice by safely using snow removal and/or sanding equipment.
- Completion of pre-trip and post trip inspections.
- Changing snowplow blades.
- Patching potholes and jackhammering.
- Doing maintenance and minor service works on vehicles.
- Digging out plugged drains, maintaining shrubbery, and picking up litter.
- Any other duties as required.
Your Qualifications & Skills
- Valid BC Class 5 driver’s licence with Air Brake endorsement and a clean abstract.
- Experience as a Service Technician or with heavy equipment; Red Seal Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician or equivalent experience (asset).
- Completion of a registered apprenticeship (preferred) or equivalent training and experience to the full apprenticeship term.
- Comfortable working outdoors around heavy machinery; physically fit for labour‑intensive tasks, including lifting.
- Able to safely operate hand and power tools; mentally alert and safety‑focused with a commitment to safe work practices.
- Clear, professional communicator and strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Proven problem‑solving skills and willingness to mentor/support apprentices.

As a Trade Journeyperson Mechanic with Emil Anderson Maintenance (EAM), you’ll keep our winter and summer fleets mission‑ready by diagnosing and repairing trucks and heavy equipment, performing preventative maintenance, completing inspections and documentation, and supporting apprentices—all while upholding strict safety standards to keep our highway operations running smoothly.

Project planning and execution
- Anticipates project needs with sufficient lead-time to avoid delay.

- Supports opportunity pursuits and the estimating of bids.

- 3+ years of project management experience in civil construction.
- Post-secondary degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

- Valid Canadian driver’s license, with a clean driving abstract.
- Physically capable of walking on uneven terrain, climbing slopes, and carrying 20 kilograms.
